Exclusive: #Holiday Story and Plot: Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, is a Tamil remake of the A.R.Murugadoss original Thuppaki, which revolves around how a military officer attempts to hunt down a terrorist, destroy a terrorist gang and disengage the sleeper cells under its command. The main cast of the film includes Akshay Kumar , Sonakshi Sinha and Govinda. Action hero Akshay Kumar plays the character of Captain Viraat Bakshi, a secret Defence Intelligence Agent who comes to Mumbai on vacation. Virat witnesses a lost wallet during a bus ride, which further helps him decode bigger clues related to tracking down of the terrorist on whose orders the sleeper cell terrorists plan to cause mayhem in the city of Mumbai. Originally titled Pistol, the film is produced under the banner of Hari Om Entertainment and Sunshine Pictures, and its music is given by Pritam.
