Exclusive; United Look To Schweinsteiger If Fabregas Bid Fails Manchester United will turn their attention to Bastian Schweinsteiger if they are knocked back again in their approach for Cesc Fabregas. The Premier League champions have had bids of £25m and £30m rejected by Barcelona for Fabregas so far, but have not given up hope. New Catalans manager Tata Martino has said it is up to the player to decide if he wants to leave or stay, and United still think they have a shot at landing the former Arsenal player. According to the Mirror, they are lining up a £35m plus £5m add-ons bid this week, but will move for the German Schweinsteiger if Fabregas rejects them.
