Excuse. Me but what is in the job description of a high school academic advisor? When a student with high honors attempts to get scholarship applications and is told he knows nothing about one she asked for. She gets application and needs transcript and letter of recommendation. Shes been very ill so her mom.calls to talk with him, but was told he wasnt available (as usual) so she insisted on speaking with him. He tells her he doesnt know her daughter (shes only been there 4 years). She has always been an honor student, never caused any problems (so didt hang out in his office), so he balks at recommendation. He did finally agree to write something. She never played sports and is not from a prominent family which are required for him to know a student. Every time she has tried to see him this year he was not in his office and never returned phone calls. Where on earth has he been all year?
