Excuse me, but I need to get this out there. I dont really care if you disagree, so dont feel the need to tell me if you do. That being said; parents these days need to wake up and realize that, once you have a child, its not all about you anymore.. The foster care system is a perfect example of how some parents are doing. When you have a child, and raise them to be the way they are, and then oneday decide, you cant deal with them anymore, it is not appropriate to just give them away. The government does what it can to fill that gap, but it is NOT A PARENT! So, if you lose your child to the state....or just drop them off; dont try to claim that you still care. Youve communicated clearly to that child what is important to you, and it is NOT them. So do us all a favor at that point, and stop pretending that you care about anyone but yourself. YOU ARENT FOOLING ANYONE! Last thing, thank God for people like my adoptive parents, who are willing to pick up your mess.
