Excuse my harshness but whats more shocking to me than the lack of Indictment is that yall were surprised? I would have been more surprised if he had been indicted! Where have you guys been the last 200+ years? There is nothing new under the sun INCLUDING racism, which is clearly institutional! Black men and men of color only have value in the country if they are making white people laugh, entertaining white people by showcasing their superior athletic skills, rapping or singing, or shucking and jiving on the television. Until we as a nation understand that we are more than profitable entities for white people to make money of off and steal culture and trends from then this cycle will continue. I keep telling people that the most dangerous creature walking the planet is a BLACK MAN and society and history continues to reiterate that white folks are NOT having it! Dont think because Oprah is a billionaire and Madea movies sell out the 1st weekend that we as a people have come up. We can rap about all the stacks we throwing up at these strippers in the club and the ice on our rings and necks while white people are spending racks on wings at their childrens private schools. While you out at the club and not at your childs PTA meeting or Board of Education meetings or teaching OUR youth that their life has value and showing them the importance of giving back to their community and standing up for injustices like Mike Brown and Trayvon Martin history is destined to continue its cycle. So go ahead and burn up your own communities and act a fool for world star but nothing will change unless we do! #SipThatTea
