Excuses, excuses, more excuses and beyond excuses...Today, tomorrow and the day after, think of something important that youve been putting off. Then think of the excuses youve used to avoid that responsibility. Finally, ask yourself what you can do today to finish the work youve been avoiding....We live in a world where excuses are everywhere. And its precisely because excuses are so numerous that they are also ineffective....When we hear the words. Im sorry but......, most of us know exactly what is to follow: the excuse. The dog ate the homework, traffic was terrible, its the companys fault, the boss is to blame, the equipment is broken, were out of that, the politicians didnt do this or that, the pastor didnt do this or that, the teacher didnt do this, mummy or daddy didnt do this or that and so forth and so on and the list is from here to Africa.........Because we humans are such creative excuse-makers, all of the really good excuses have already been taken. In fact, the high-quality excuses have been used, re-used, over-used and abused....Thats why excuses dont work- we ve heard them all before.......So, if youre wasting your time trying to portray yourself as a victim ( and weakening your character in the process), or if youre trying to concoct a new and improved excuse, dont bother........Excuses dont work, and while youre inventing them, neither do you...........Think about this friends........I am so tired of hearing excuses after excuses........What about you friends?.................For some people, its routine........Always busy...............
