Executive Orders are NOT Law! EOs are ORDERS from the President (says so right in the name), which pertain to that which he has Constitutional Control over ... which is the military. Nowhere in the Const is the Executive Branch allowed to have OTHER depts/agencies under him ... so what is under him besides the military? Dept of Agriculture Dept of Commerce (which is clearly to be under Congress via the const) Dept of Education Dept of Energy Dept of Defense (defense/military, ok I can accept that) Dept of Health & Human Services Dept of Homeland Security (defense/military-ok BUT if its part of the military, we are NOT to have a standing army....so ...) Dept of Housing & Urban Development Dept of Justice (clearly to be under the Judicial Branch via the const) Dept of Labor Dept of State Dept of Interior Dept of Treasury (HEY! Nowhere in the const does it say that is to be under the exec branch - again it is to be under congress via the const) Dept of Transportation Dept of Veteran Affairs (ok, connected to the military) The above are just SOME of the agencies/depts under the Exec Branch.... maybe NOW you will understand WHY it seems the President has a far reaching arm moreso than what is prescribed in the Const. BTW: Congress APPROVED of all this, so WHO is really to blame? Yup! Congress!
