Exhausted is the only word I know right now. What a whirlwind the past 2 days have been. Konnor is tucked in for the night. His energy levels come and go, but Im sure the pain medication has a lot to do with that. Konnor looked in the mirror for the first time today and cried. He said to me, Momma, it looks so bad. All I knew to do was hug him tightly while hiding my tears. I explained to him how all of you have lifted him up constantly in prayer and that the prayers are still coming. I got a small grin out of him at that point. Please keep the prayers coming. Dr. Russell (our pediatrician) will see us on Monday and we are working on getting in to see Dr. Segrest (plastic surgeon) on Tuesday morning. We are hopeful that the swelling in his eye will start to go down soon….we need to make sure that his eye didnt receive any more damage. Thank you all again for everything….all of your texts, FB messages, and phone calls have been so uplifting.
