Exhibit your artwork in Metro Detroit! Check out this great upcoming opportunity for Michigan artists below. The Anton Art Center is now accepting submissions for Michigan Annual XLII, an exhibition of contemporary artwork by Michigan artists. Resident Michigan artists 18 years and older are invited to digitally submit up to two original entries of any media completed within the last two years. All works previously displayed at the Anton Art Center are ineligible. Accepted works will be on exhibit in the Main Galleries beginning Friday, January 30 through Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Michigan Annual XLII is the Anton Art Center’s 42nd annual statewide juried exhibition in Macomb County. Exhibiting works and awards are to be selected by guest juror, Nancy Mitchnick. First prize will be awarded $1,000, second prize receives $600, and $400 goes to the third prize winner. Entry fee is $20 for Art Center members and $35 for non-members. Artists must submit the completed entry form (available below), entry fee payment, and artwork images by the deadline, Tuesday, January 6, 2015, 11:59PM EST, by mail.
