Exhibition Polo Matches on May 16 & 17 at Islamabad Club Polo Ground: The Islamabad Club polo academy has been functional since March 6. A large number of aspiring polo players are currently receiving training at our polo academy. The club has engaged the services of two well known coaches from England, Mr. Marcus Hancock and Mr. Adriano Di Gianvittorio, to run the academy. Under their expert guidance we hope to develop a new generation of polo players in Pakistan as well as enhance the skills of existing players. The students at our academy who joined as beginners in March have come a long way since then. The progress made by many of these players in such a short period of time is remarkable. Some of the youngsters at the academy, we are confident, will become acclaimed polo players with the passage of time. To celebrate their progress, Islamabad Club is organizing a series of short exhibition matches on Friday & Saturday May 16 & 17 at our polo ground. The matches will start at 5:00pm. All members are invited to witness these matches and encourage these budding polo players.
