Existence and how to make a living is something that each and every human being has to handle the pains of. Right from Da Vinci to Picasso, to Mozart to Scorcese when he was younger to De Niro must have had the same issues to deal with; the absolutely real pains of making a living as an artist. Can we step aside from that frustration, jump up above it and actually create work that leaves its mark in the world at large? its a tough thing because by their very nature, issues of making a living have the tendency to completely take over your thinking. But do dream. Above and beyond what seems most pressing and real, above the pain of feeling inadequate when it comes to making ends meet, above being able to rise up in the social order, above comparisons with others whore of the same age & experience. Its the only thing that will really matter when you zoom out and when you look back many years later. No one, including you, will give a damn then about how pressing your needs were at that point.
