Exodus 1:15-17 15 The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah, 16 ‘When you are helping the Hebrew women during childbirth on the delivery stool, if you see that the baby is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live.’ 17 The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live. Good morning!!! Whose command do you obey, God or man? Are you forced to do evil, all in the name of making a living? Do you fear God? Well, remember what the midwives did, they piously disobeyed the impious command because they feared God, regarded his law, and feared his wrath more than Pharaohs and therefore saved the sons’ alive. If mens commands be any way contrary to the commands of God, we must obey God and not man. No power on earth must cause us to sin against God. Where the fear of God rules in the heart, it will preserve it from the trap which the unreasonable fear of man brings. The enemies are restless in their quest to wear you out, but He that sits in heaven shall laugh at them because you have obeyed Him. May God help us to fear HIM and not men in all our endeavours in Jesus Name FEAR GOD!!!
