Exodus 15:23, “And when they came to Marah (bitterness), they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. (24) And the people murmured… (25)… so the Lord showed them a Tree (a type of the Cross) and when it was cast into the bitter waters, the waters were made sweet… and there He (God) proved them.” Marah is a place I think that every Christian comes to at some point in their walk with the Lord. I see many people in the church that are going through difficult times right now and too often their test and trial causes them to grow bitter at everyone around them, even with God at times. But we can either continue to grow bitter or we can grab hold of the Tree that God has provided to get us through our bitter waters, test and trial. It’s a good day to repent of the things that was proven to be in us by the bitter waters and march on, or we can stay there, murmur and complain, lose focus and accomplish nothing in the Kingdom of God. The choice is yours/ours, time is short and our opportunity to impact the World with the Gospel decreases every day, what are you doing with the day and the Light you have been given: camping out at Marah or marching on in Gods Army?? For Gods got an Army marching through the land, with deliverance in their song and healing in their hand, with everlasting joy and gladness in their heart, and in this Army I got a part!!! Praise the Lord for His Mercy and Grace!!
