Expedition 39 Commander Koichi Wakata of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Flight Engineers Rick Mastracchio of NASA and Mikhail Tyurin of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) landed their Soyuz TMA-11M spacecraft in Kazakhstan at 9:58 p.m. EDT, May 13. The trio arrived at the International Space Station on Nov. 7, 2013, and spent more than six months conducting research and exploration.
