Experience is a great teacher, isnt that what they say? For individuals... Perhaps. But what about the lessons we have to tackle collectively? There is another saying, Those who dont know history are doomed to repeat it. Of course weve come a long way, but have we learned the lessons? ...because its not about whos inside the building. Its about how we feel about setting fires and how we feel about just walking away when someone else does. We need to know our history, especially the uncomfortable parts, because the way to overcome the abyss is to face it, tackle it, and better ourselves.
