Experienced something many of us have experienced through the years yesterday....It was my first time and I hope I never have to do it again...We had to release one of our beautiful little cats to be in kitty heaven....Her name was Misty and she was a little angel who loved us as much as we loved her.. She became ill a week or so ago and had almost stopped eating..Took her to the Vet. and found out she had lukemia to the point of probably only living for a few days and it was in her bone marrow with no chance of doing anything for her...I had said before I would never let a vet put an animal to sleep but learning this information it was the only choice for her...It was very hard to see those eyes that had looked at me so many times for petting, comfort, food, to tell on her brothers, look at me for those last few minutes. I could see the love and the anguish of not knowing what was going on and begging me to just take her back home...As the vet and the assistant held her frail little body and injected the final dose to put her to sleep I gently kissed her on the forehead and told her I would see her one day in heaven....She was a bundle of joy for me and Faith and will be missed greatly.....Rest good my little one til we meet again.....XOXO!!!!
