Exploring the 4th Dimension Introduction to the Course Exploring the 4th Dimension is a series of classes that explore the varied aspects of past and present Paranormal and Psychical Research. About the Authors: The Maverick Project expressed as a certified course: Exploring the 4th Dimension is co –authored by Dori Spence, and the ‘Collective’ a cooperative of ‘Spirits’ (non-physical beings) with assistance from Parapsychologists who generously shared their insights on specialized aspects of paranormal research. Dori Spence is a professional Life Coach, Parapsychologist, Medium, Mystic and certified Psychic Channel. She is the founder/executive of Lifeworks International Inc. and the co- founder and current President of Spooks Inc. Dori’s personal interest and professional involvement in metaphysics, paranormal and psychical studies spans over 40 years. She works with personal clients, private investigators, corporations, and law enforcement agencies providing valuable, sometimes crucial information not available through conventional sources while sharing her knowledge through lectures, classes and symposiums, and private and commercial on-site paranormal inspections. 2 Exploring the 4th Dimension Course Description The Course focuses on the aspects of what has come to be referred to as the 4th Dimension or the Life of energy forces that exist outside the normal range of currently know physical capabilities. The course is designed to guide students into making personal discoveries about the Life and Life forces that exist beyond the range of the 5 known physical senses of touch, taste, smell, hearing and sight. The Course will provide students with knowledge and techniques to better understand and access the 5 relatively unknown or unrecognized psychic senses of touch, taste, smell, hearing and sight. All theories, speculations, and/or explanations will be examined through past and present Philosophical, Scientific, Cultural and Religious perspectives. Course Design Besides the reference list supplied in the course materials and the designated workshops, classroom discussions and group investigations, students may take advantage of any other respectable resources including but not limited to: personal interviews, television shows, the internet, and other private and public paranormal investigations. The class is not designed to prove what, if anything is actually true, only what each one thinks or theorizes might be true, based on the information acquired through personal experience and exploration. There is no right or wrong answer to many of the discussion questions, only 3 speculation based on personal evaluation of the provided information. The course is designed to provide a customized but non-conclusive learning experience for each individual student. Learning Outcomes Upon successful completion of this course, students will acquire a greater understanding of life in other dimensions as well as able to relate personally to natural life energies, including their own. Specifically, each student will be able to achieve the following: 1. Identify, recognize and personally revitalize accepted terms, definitions, concepts and /or labels assigned to psychical research, past and present. 2. Become more sensitive to external, invisible, ‘psychic’ energies and related life forms and forces by becoming more familiar with the ‘psychical’ atmosphere created by the interactions between visible and non- visible life forms. 3. Become familiar with the most effective materials, and equipment, plus the most sensitive and non-evasive methods used to conduct or participate in a successful Paranormal Investigation/Interaction. 4. Develop a more comfortable, enlightened personal perspective that can enhance the expansion and enjoyment of the overall personal, physical life experience.4 The Coursework is divided into two separate, but related courses referenced as Part A & Part B. Participants can register for one or both, depending on their own personal depth of interest, or current knowledge base of the overall course content. The overall theme of the course is the discovery of the aspects of the “Invisible Life’ that exists just outside of the normal range or capabilities of the 5 known physical senses of hearing, sight, smelling, touching and taste. The course content focuses on current theories, explanations, and speculations of what is being referred to by various factions as the other side, through the veil, the Spirit World, the Afterlife and Heaven or Hell etc.. All theories etc. will be examined through the Philosophical, Cultural, Scientific and Religious perspective. This is a Guided/ Independent Study course. There are no textbooks, no general answer sheets, and no deadline for completion. The final grade and issuance of a certificate will be awarded based on the completion and quality of the individual portfolio. Each Portfolio will include the recording and documenting of all courses required assignments and activities, and the researched reference and resource materials acquired through personal explorations, investigations, and experimentation as related to course content. Besides the Independent Study course assignments and activities, there will be 4, Guided Study classroom/ workshops periods per course – (Parts A & B) as well as in the field investigations and other onsite paranormal training programs. Attendance is required only at the 1st & 4th classroom period, but each student is responsible for acquiring the information provided during each classroom period.
