External appearance does matter. This whole things about internal beauty is true and important, but people ( meaning men and women) care for external beauty. I mean Beauty according to what society says is or is not attractive or hot. Age is another one. This whole thing that age is matter of mind set is true but people do have serious problems with this matter. Family, Friends and even the couple involved go through a lot dealing with the complexity of these. However, great families were created with couples who were courages to look at inside of each other and love even when one was younger or older than each other. Here is my point, we can not force no one to love whoever they want no matter what. The issue is that our choices and decisions regarding a relationship may be totally influenced and determined by prejudice against ones skin tone, age, culture, nationality, and social status and love is not even part of the occasion. Here is the question. What is love? Is love a feeling or a choice? One group says that love is a feeling. The other group says it is a choice. The first group claims to be in love when he/she is feeling a romantic passion towards their partner, lover and/or spouse. The second group claims that he/ she can choose who they want to love and then choose to love and the passion would come with time. Some of us have experienced both with success or not. Here is the question, what would be the source of either the feeling or choice? The internal beauty or the external? Personally, I am not here to judge or preach a sermon since I am not perfect. This is just a reflection on how we define love in our minds and how we actually putting into practice. The truth is that we are all learning and growing in our own time... One of the greatest lessons I have learned and am still working on is to be honest and true with self changing/working on self first. Good night
