Extra Brain Fluid May Predict Autism Diagnosis: Study Babies who have extra fluid around their brains may be more likely to be diagnosed with autism later, a new study suggests. Researchers from the University of California, Davis, MIND Institute used MRI scans to look at the brains of infants, to see if they could find early biological signs of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
