Extremely happy that the army have announced their intervention - TopicsExpress

Extremely happy that the army have announced their intervention within 48 hours should things not get better, but lest we forget, the following must be done to ensure that lessons are learnt from the 25th Jan revolution: 1. Constitution to be re-written by the best of our judiciary, and with proper consultation from all those concerned, i.e. young, old, azhar, church, etc. 2. Parliamentary elections to run first, and anyone who has a religious agenda is to be banned from running from elections, 3. Presidential elections, and i think there has to be a maximum number of candidates, not the huge amount that was there last time. Also, not anyone can run for presidential elections, candidates must have a clear political or social related work cv to back them. Again, they should not have a religous agenda, or were a member of a religous party. I think Abu el Fotouh was a great example of how those with a religous background never change, regardless of where they belong. Our country has been literally out of service for 2.5 years, and to get things back on track will take time and effort. We must forget all of our differences, and work on how to get our economy up and running again. Be it trying to get investors and tourists back... I think those of us who live outside need to establish some form of committees to try and help where we can. God bless Egypt and its people.
