Eye doc gave me drops for my eye, have to put one drop in that eye at bedtime, and wants to see me back in a month. Seems like a good doctor, said hes the glaucoma guy. Of course, he had to update me on all the newest technologies, and said he thinks they could restore at least partial sight to my eye. It would involve a team of about 4 doctors, going to Hopkins, and they would implant a lens, implant an artificial iris, and at least a partial, if not full, corneal transplant. I told him that just the thought makes me sick to my stomach. He said we could talk about it again later. For some reason, I almost cried. Have to work that one out in my head. This visit caused a whole lot of swirling emotions that I dont know what to do with.
