Eyedrum Periodically Call for Submissions: Submission deadline: September 21, 2013 Who are the monsters that populate our inner and outer worlds? What are their attributes? How do they make themselves felt? How do we embrace, con-ject or dispense with them? Eyedrum Art and Music Gallery–a collective organization that provides a forum to support and encourage the development, exchange, and presentation of creative ideas and to nourish multifaceted growth in contemporary culture–announces the second issue of Eyedrum Periodically, a publication that presents new poetry, fiction, essays, and pictorial images of visual art. Eyedrum Periodically is currently seeking submissions. The editors encourage authors and artists to present work in determinate and indeterminate genres, including Graphic lit/Comics. The theme for the second issue is Monsters. Submit work related to the theme to: eyedrumperiodically@gmail Include a bio of no more than fifty words in the body of the email. All creative work should be submitted as an attachment to the email as follows: WRITTEN WORK GUIDELINES Poetry: 3 – 5 poems with the words Poetry 1 2013 in the subject line Essays, flash fic and fiction: not to exceed 3,000 words, with the words Essay 1 2013 or Fiction 1 2013 in the subject line Please double space and number pages. ARTWORK SUBMISSION GUIDELINES Artists submitting work to be considered may present up to three original images. Please note that landscape-oriented artwork that can be sized to fit works best with our journal’s design.
