F.c.s Daily devotion. Text 4rm Hebrew 11: 32 - 40 qs 3,4 topic: Faith of our father - conquering Faith. Body: people of faith were always victorious, sometime defeat. In d first place, recall d victories wrought 2ru Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel nd d prophets. These people never took no 4 an answer. They got what they wanted. Enemines fled b4 them. Read vs 33-35a again. They even raise d dead back 2 life. They were victorious. However we need to see d oda side of their victory in vs 35b -38. D world did nt consider them worthy of their lyfs, so they rather chose to die than hold on life in a sinful world. They rather chose to be naked than to be clothed in the robe of sin. They were homeless, and they made their abode in cave and hole in d ground. As we preach d message of faith today, we should be cearful not to emphasize one side of d victory above d other side of suffering. We may suffer for our faith, and that is still okay. Read vs 40 again. What should this motivate us to do? so: No matter what i am passing 2ru, i shall havd no regrets for my faith. Prayer: Dear lord, help me 2 endure to the end!. Good morining.
