In his debut season 2007 his points were controversially reduced and he eventually narrowly lost the world championship, he is the only black formula 1 driver. This season, he has had several mysterious mechanical and electrical faults on his car which has either made him struggle from behind to impressively finish races on podiums or prematurely end races. Worst of all, his German team mate chasing him, punctured his tyre, overtook him and ultimately ended his race in Belgium, without being punished. Next Sunday 23 November 2014 is this seasons last race, Lewis is leading the world championship and only needs to finish second in Abu Dhabi to claim his second world championship. His performances tells that only a mechanical, electrical or human sabotage stands in his way of success.
