***FABULOUS AVERAGE SAFER*** A volunteer writes: Sweet Rizzo is a little camera shy so its hard to capture how truly handsome he is in a mere photo. His rich brown fur, lightly spotted chest blaze and one dainty foot dipped in white give him such character and the warm light that shines from his eyes says it all - Rizzo is a loverboy! He really enjoys snuggling and will eagerly burrow himself into my lap or just flop on the floor and wait patiently for me to rub his tummy. When I do, he stretches upward and then completely relaxes, chilling out in pure belly-scratching bliss. And if you think thats sweet, you aint seen nothing yet! Much as he likes humans, what really makes Rizzos world go round are his fellow canines and I dont think Ive ever seen a dog more excited to meet and greet than this guy. He play-bows, he wiggles, he smiles his goofy smile and he was so excited to see one old girl in the hallway that he literally bounced straight up in the air, all 4 feet leaving the ground in a unique hapiness hover! Rizzo is a calm walker, an eager (but gentle) treat-taker, a good ball player and he even hopped up to help me open the gate when it was time to return inside. At 3 years old, he has reached that perfect age where hes over the puppy crazies and rebellious teen years but is still very playful and full of joie de vivre. Im really in love with this good boy and once you meet him I think youll agree, Rizzo is so much more than just another brown dog. Hes a shining example of unconditional love and devotion and hes going to make a wonderful addition to any family lucky enough to take him home.
