Going back to October - November 2013; we confidently claimed 40-50 seats but had to end up with 28 seats in Delhi Elections. We claimed minimum 100 seats in LS elections and we ended up with 4. We were hopeful in Punjab, but returned empty handed. There need to be legitimacy for the claims regarding number of seats which we are going to win. There is no lack of merit in the party or its candidates, which is for sure. We need to see why honesty and idea of honest politics are never sold out in Indian Electoral battle. Also need to see if something is terribly wrong with our voters. Chances for voting machine tampering / booth apturing / bogus voting need to be addressed. Every Indian state other than Delhi, we have issues of internal fights. Eg: Kerala AAP, Gujarat AAP, Goa AAP, Assam AAP, West Bengal AAP are almost a gone cases. Also need to see if people coming to the organization fail to imbibe the spirit of the organization. Based on facebook discussion on https://facebook/groups/AamAadmiParty/695080320588273/?notif_t=group_comment we are submitting the following proposals along with names of proposers. 1. Volunteer satisfaction to be ensured and conventional campaign methods need to be enhanced, in light of media black outs – Mr. Amit Gupt & Mr. Vijay Kumar 2. Booth capturing to be addressed properly – Mr. Rohit Singh 3. EVM tampering & bogus voting to be addressed properly – Mr. Bhuvan Joshi 4. Election manifesto need to be comprehensive and should have a bearing to local issues – Mr. Abdul Amir Karim 5. The passive attitude of Public regarding demand for solution of problems need to change. Religion caste based sympathy need to change – Mr. Prateek & Mr. Vijay Kumar 6. Lack of publicity about AAP and Shri. Arvind Kejriwal in remote rural areas. – Mr. Vijay Kumar 7. Lack of work experience and organization in other parts of India than Delhi – Md NAushad Javed 8. Majority of AAP supporters do not have their name enrolled in voting list. – Mr. Vijay Kumar 9. We need to prevent voters being lured by gifts. ( Vinayakan Kuruvath) Steps like Street shows should be done to counter media black outs. (Amarinder Gill) Raw comments received are as follows: A) Lack of voter awareness 1) there are so many factors which work together as i experienced during lok sabha elections. Still majority of voters think about a MP or MLA of their cast or religion. 2) lack of awareness about the things going on in the country. U must accept that even after so much efforts the voter turnout is limited between 45-55%. Because people this its waste of time. They have set mentality that ek mera vote nahi dalega to kya ho jayega. 3) Biggest mistake of AAP is keep forgetting its volunteer and now no one want to work with them. or ab vo log sath aa rahe hai jinko apna fayeda dikhta hai..... or maje ki baat to ye hai ki pucha bhi inhi ko jata hai. most of our voters belong to rural areas where the sitting MPs and MLSa use to distribute money, liqueurs or other such freebees. 4) The common voter of these rural areas do not know Arvind kejriwal or AAP or so. What they know is ki their local MLA has asked them to vote for him or it has been decided in the common village meeting by sarpanch that all villagers will vote for a particular candidate and in return of that the sarpanch get a huge amount of some kind of gift. B) Selfishness of people 1) People don’t want to Spare some time from their Routine to Work for Nation. Like Yesterday i had a Train to Goa at 10 pm from CSTM but Still the train has not left the CSTM.... And when i was about to Complain others advised me to Wait, There was no Clarification being Given! No official is assigned to answer public grievance, as per their understanding. That’s Why Public never Ask ! Arvind Sir has Taught us to Ask .... because its Our Right to know about anything! 2) But Due to insufficiency of the Powers to the Common Man, We are Losing Ourselves in the System.! We just want to get our Work Done only. No one will Support the Other Person in Getting Justice...! Being Selfish is also a Drowning Point For Us... C) Selfishness of people 1) Active volunteers and leadership should show integrity and unity. To clear their ill-intentions they need to go strong team building and exercises. 2) What I strongly feel is among us there are patriots not patriotic enough to sacrifice. And those who keep on going are sufficiently rich to stay in here for long and may expect returns when their hard work seems to pay off. D) Other issues. 1) Things will not improve till regrouping of forces id done and policies are well defined. 2) In some booths Women, Scheduled caste/tribe people and Muslims are not allowed to vote or their names are deleted from electoral roll -- Best Regards Aravind.G
