FACEBOOK FAMILY!! TOWN OF TUNICA RACIALLY TARGETED MY FAMILY AND PROPERTY!!!! I have not been suprised but it disappoints me that the TOWN OF TUNICA (MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN) has voted to demolish my uncles (HOSIA NICKSON) building!!!! He is one of the oldest and successful AFRICAN AMERICAN business owners in the town for over 40 years, long time taxpayer, and a state blues marker bares his in the town park. Also, they are taking bids to put a $10,000 lien on his property. Next, because it is prime and historic property, they will line up to pay that $10,000 lein to own the property!!!! It is a shame that they are targeting my family because of a LAWSUIT against the TOWN OF TUNICA and I SPEAK OUT ABOUT HOW THE TOWN OF TUNICA HAS NEVER CARED ABOUT AFRICAN AMERICANS THAT LIVE IN THE TOWN (LETS NOT FORGET ABOUT SUGAR DITCH) AND THEY RECEIVE OVER 2 MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR THAT THE TOWN SHOULD SHARE WITH OTHER COMMUNITIES AROUND TUNICA!!!! SOME DISGRUNTLED BUSINESS OWNERS ARE MAD ABOUT A TAX HIKE THAT PAST BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CAUSED BY TOTALLY WIPING OUT TAXES SINCE 1997 SO THERE FRIENDS IN THE COUNTY DIDNT HAVE TO PAY TAXES. THE COUNTY NEEDED CASINO REVENUE AND TAXES IN PLACE TO KEEP A BALANCE. There was no complaints in the 3 years since property caught fire. There was only a letter from the building inspector accessing the damage caused by fire!!!There were no letters sent out to ask him to clean his property until I challenged town business owners and a few town residents for calling me and other county supervisors incompetent!!!! During my rebuttal of the comment ....a spouse of one of the business owners told the sheriff to lock me up for speaking out!!! This has never been done to business owner!!!!! This is flat out RACIAL PROFILING and RACIAL DISCRIMINATION!!!! I will not back down, I will do all I can to protect my family, family name, and property in the TOWN OF TUNICA. FACEBOOK FAMILY SUPPORT AND STAND WITH US TO PUT A END TO THIS INJUSTICE!!!!! SHARE THIS WITH OTHERS!!!!
