FACEBOOK NATION : Chapter 4 page #127...THE TRUTH...I wanted to tell you some happy little story tonight but I cant do that. You see my friends Im pissed off. It happens around the HOLIDAYS and we do have to call them HOLIDAYS and not what we used to. That might offend someone. Can you tell I havent been taking my meds on a regular basis. That little pink pill I take to help me deal with stupid people. Ive been venturing out lately unmedicated. Just a little experiment Im conducting. When I go somewhere I have a plan in place before I leave. Call it OCD if you like but thats the way I am. I know where every item I intend to buy is at in every store I go to. Which brings me to stupid people who take up the whole aisle while they chit chat or or try to decide which brand of canned veggies is the best buy. They even make eye contact with you and still stand there contemplating the laws of physics. All the while my partner Shadow is waiting in the truck for me to return. I worry about her you see because like I said there are stupid people out there. It wouldnt surprise me that some dumb ass would break my window to steal that good dog of mine. Then my friends shit would hit the fan meds or no meds. I get a little ornery around the HOLIDAYS because I miss My Girl. There are other bad days like the day she passed away. I used to take that whole week off when I was working. A couple more are our anniversary and her birthday. Now that we are on the subject of the HOLIDAYS and birthdays I would like to make a proposal. I think we should do away with New Years Day and birthdays. Now why the hell would I want to do that youre wondering. Well tonight Im trying to see things from the offended and stupid peoples point of view. After giving it some thought I figured New Years and my birthday offend me. Its a yearly reminder that Im another year closer to my expiration date. So maybe instead of watching football New Years Day Ill march to the capital in Saint Paul and lay down on the steps in protest to see if I can get it wiped off the calendar. If all goes well maybe on my birthday Ill go all the way to the nations capital and take care of that day too. Well be talking again before the HOLIDAYS till then watch out for stupid people...THE TRUTH...
