FACEBOOK SENSATION As you may know, we are at the Will Leahy Show are relatively new to Facebook. Once the Pope was on it, we felt that we had little choice. So we only really started on Facebook about a year ago and have had some great times here. Business was very brisk during all the Garth Brooks developments. Also during the odd schedule change or two. But nothing compares to this past week. To illustrate, whenever we normally post here the amount of views and likes can vary. On average, a joke of the day will be viewed by about 10k Facebookers which is pretty good. A post with a link etc might get about 2k views. Then, last Saturday evening we put up a post about turning 30. Now, the average friend of our page is between 25-35 but nothing could have prepared us for the amount of views it has received in 7 days. As of 6pm today we are nearly at 600,000 views and 1.6k likes. So one in four people in Ireland on Facebook has seen the post. It has had more viewers than any tv show last week (thankfully Love/Hate is over...) So all I can say is....watch out for many more When I turn 30 posts.....Or turning 30 while listening to Garth Brooks posts....
