FACT: Last Sunday morning I spent some time during my preaching to deal with the whole Twitter / Facebook issue. It seems that as of October 3, 2013 a little over 500 million people use Facebook. I find it strange that things like social media can cause friction even among Saints. In fact, most Pastors now lament the problems sometimes caused by social media outlets and those who become too emotionally attached to their problem causing aspects of their actions or their responses. Lets face facts... If you are cruising Facebook or Twitter with its massive number of people (or even just Friends or Friends of Friends) just to see if someone somewhere is talking about you then you are SERIOUSLY an EGOMANIAC of the highest order. Ive come to the conclusion a long time ago that Im just not that important that people will stop their day to fire at me and Im sincerely dont care enough to go looking for supposed offenses. Life is too short to worry about such things.
