FACTS AND FIGURES OF LIFE (Vol3. No14) I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST NEVERTHELESS I LIVE I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me Gal2:20 Must atimes in the Bible some statement may be grammatically wrong but they are spiritually excellent eg I am cruxify and yet I live. In normal human sense death sets in after crucifixion, that undoubtedly proves that Biblical statement is biologically wrong! But we must understand that the word of God is basically filled up with spiritual facts, and we know also that But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man (1cor2:14-15) Having established the fact that certain statements can be physically, biologicallyor grammatically wrong and be spiritually CORRECT lets critically exermine the implication of that statement I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST NEVERTHELESS I LIVE . We must understand that that very scripture is a personal revelation confession, he did not say we are crucified with christ and we live. Paul was actually talking to peter and some other people that came from Jerusalem and something led to that conversion (study the whole chapter and get the root and reason for that conversion) Paul the apostle was not talking about an issue of physical death as can be explained in simple biological or grammatical terms but rather he was exlaining a revelation of his fleshly activities death with Christ and a resurrection through living a life of faith. We must understand the implication of what the Bible is saying. Whatever we are doing now should be a product of the newly recreated man. The characteristics of the old man are obviou and clear to us as Christians. Paul was making personal declarations that he was crucified, may I humbly tell you that the issue of crucifixion is optional? Jesus Himself chose to be crucified that was why He was crucified. Because we know through His words that He has the power to call angels from heaven that will have completely reverse the issue of crucifixion in His life but He humbly and deliberately went there. There is no difference in our case we may choose to crucify flesh and chose not to all is within the disposition of our ability. We have seen our (GENTILES) Apostle have chose to be crucified and he was no longer living according to the intentions of his flesh but according to the characters and leadership of the new man. Paul was a man like any of us with flesh and blood and he took that decision, lets believe God that we can do it. until we applied the revelation of self crucifixion as paul did, We are bound to continuelly experience a shallow christianity that can only lead to frustration. We should not forget what are involved in self crucifixion, there are pains, self denial, perseverance, patience etc all this are the path way to glory. There is always a passing through in life before a lasting success, the children of Isreal pass through, Abraham pass through, Hannah pass through, and many victorious patriarchs of old. We should not decive ourselves of pass through to the platform of excellence without passing through. Even as we are passing through we should not forget that He is with us! MAY HE GIVE US MORE ABILITY AND KNOWLEDGE OF SELF CRUCIFIXION IN OUR DAILY LIVES IJN Thanks! To God be the praise!!! See in another addition of FACTS AND FIGURES OF LIFE
