FACULTY HEAD - AFRIKAANS (Grade 1 – 4) Sagewood is an independent, co-educational day school, situated in Noordwyk (Midrand), Gauteng. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individual for a vacancy of Educator - Afrikaans first language Successful candidate will be responsible in carrying out the professional duties of a teacher in their relevant areas and will be required take an active role in the extra-curricular activities of the school. Key performance areas: Planning, teaching and class management Ensure the achievement of excellent educational standards Deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experience. Evaluating, monitoring, assessment and reporting. Manage learner behaviour, maintain good working habits and discipline in classroom. Minimum requirements: Four year Degree in Education/Teaching or an equivalent Five years teaching experience SACE registration A detailed CV, copies of your qualifications to be emailed to the HR Manager.
