FAI European Championship, day 7: when things go bad they can only get better... thats not true! :) Today I decided to take the start in the worst place I could choose together with other 4-5 pilots. 88km task mostly in the flats in the direction of Nis. After this first mistake we managed to climb very slowly and fly to the first turn point... after that we caught up some pilots of the second gaggle who got stuck on the small hill on the way to the goal. After a long battle lots of us landed there and some others could fly further. Nobody reached the goal. 60km was the best distance flown by the first gaggle. Fortunately some Italian pilots are in front so that we can gain some points for the team ranking.
