FAITH (A1002036) ****WANNA PLAY WITH ME**** A volunteer writes: I was waiting and waiting to get my hands on Faith, a little girl, only seven months of age. The vet tech brought her back. She was mine…. Faith acted very shy in her kennel. She was afraid to come out and even walk. I had to carry her to the yard where on leash, she started to walk and do her business right away. We stopped by the feeding station; she sat for a treat and explored briefly the area. All what Faith really wanted to do is to climb on my lap, kiss and kiss and kiss and to be loved, hugged and caressed. A needy youngster. Faiths natural beauty transpires through her mangy skin that is so erythematous that it feels like a hot plate. Her coat is powdery and yeasty. Her nails are very long. She sometimes limps as a result of the edema affecting her paws. Her weight is fine, though. Faith did not have the best of care in her early life… A little TLC and some roast beef went a long way…After few minutes spent together, all worries had disappeared from Faiths mind. She had become a carefree puppy, silly, playful and as cute as a button… Toys, balls, rawhides. Give me, give me, give me…and I will bring them back to you. I know how to play. I am a puppy and play is all what I am about… I love Faith. She is adorable and most likely was abandoned because of her skin condition. She is perfect, a little gem. In French, we would call her Peau dAne after the story of a beautiful princess hiding under the skin of a donkey. A beautiful prince came along and unveiled her beauty with a magic kiss. Well, in Faiths case, be the magician, take her home, love her, care for her and reveal to the entire beautiful princess hiding under her mange. Another volunteer writes: Spend time with Faith and you will want to promise her the world......She is such a snuggler, such a lover girl, that you wonder how her former owners allowed her skin to get to such a sorry state. But, Faith still loves us, those who havent helped her, and has faith that someone will step up and love her enough to get her the care she needs. She smiles, wags her tail and simply wants to snuggle with the closest human. If she could stay in your lap all day shed be a happy girl! Appropriately puppy playful, Faith aced her behavior evaluation indicating shell be a good fit for just about any home. Have you fallen in love with her yet? How can you not, she is ADORABLE!!!
