FAITH, LAW AND SALVATION. The aim of the law is to simply show us how sinful we are Rom 3:20. The foundation of our salvation is not by keeping the law but by having faith in the lord Jesus Christ. Rom 3:25. Without faith, keeping the law is useless and cannot save us, faith however helps us to fulfil the Law. Rom 3:31 The boasting of our salvation should not be on observing the law. Better put, you are not saved because you dont smoke, steal, kill or commit fornication. You are saved because you Have FAITH in the finished work of salvation on the cross Rom 3:27-28. The law put our focus on what we do, but faith keep our focus on what God does. SCORE POINT: Is not by what we do that we are saved but by what God has done through his son. Having faith help us to keep the law more effectively Rom 3: 31. Both Faith and keeping the law are therefore important for a total salvation experience. Are you saved? Good morning.
