FALMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESS RELEASE For over twenty years the Falmouth Police have been celebrating National Night Out with the citizens of Falmouth. Similar to last year, the Falmouth Police Department is hosting National Night Out (nationwide community crime watch event) on August 5, 2014 between the hours of 6pm-8pm at the Falmouth Police Headquarters. All of Falmouth’s Crime Watch groups as well as the general citizenry are invited to attend. Among other things, the event will include tours of the police station, activities for children including face painting, fingerprinting, and having their pictures taken. There will be a K-9 demonstration, displays of equipment, and information tables. Among the agencies represented will be; the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Dept, Falmouth Fire Dept., Falmouth Marine & Environmental Services, U.S. Coast Guard, Red Cross, TRIAD, Falmouth Prevention Partnership, and Homeland Security. Also, there will be free food, refreshments, and ice cream served for those in attendance.
