FAMILY CAMP OUT Are you looking for a great family fall weekend get-away on a budget? Well look no further! The Chicago Heights Park District along with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources will host a Family Camp Out on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6th. Camp site set up/Check In: 12 noon – 2 pm and camp site take down/check out: 8:00-10:30 am (10/6/13) on the greens at the East Golf Course. So pack your blankets, snacks, and PJ’s for a fun family weekend. We will have great fun activities for everyone to enjoy from camp fires stories to smore’s. Sign up your family today for this great in town trip! The fee is $20 for a family of (5) and under and $5.00 for additional participants. Tent rentals will also be provided for additional fee.
