FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP The Iroquois/Morrisburg Mental Health Support Group meets on the third Tuesday of every month (except December) in the meeting room at the Civic Centre (beside the Public Library) at 2 Dundas St. in Iroquois. The meeting begin at 6:00 pm and usually last until 7:45. In addition to sharing experiences and learning from each other, we try to include an educational component in each meeting in the form of a short video clip or a guest speaker. Our family support group is designed for RELATIVES and FRIENDS of individuals with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and other mood disorders. The group meets once a month in Iroquois and is led by the members themselves. By sharing our experiences, we learn how to cope more effectively with the challenges of supporting a loved one with mental illness.
