FAMILY UPDATE / NEWSLETTER Dear Rope Holders! Firs of all, we want to thank you for keeping us in your prayers! We need prayer, we covet the prayers of the Saints. Thank you for your faithfulness to God, and for your faithfulness to us as your fellow workers in this field. We are stuck in the will of God, geographically we are still in Hungary. My dear wife got her invitation letter to take the Hungarian citizenship oath on December 12th! Instead of 2 months, this process took 5 months. God teaching us patience. The good thing is that once she has the Hungarian passport we will be free to travel together freely. Please, pray for us, as we plan to fly to China right before Christmas. What a great Christmas present it will be, the Church and the Team in Guangzhou gets the Marian Family back. Pray for the team in Guangzhou, and for the Chinese disciples that are asking for Bible School all the time. We plan to start classes right after we arrive. Please keep praying for Abigail, she is doing very well. Keep praying for our family, for greater grace to be upon us as we raise our children, as we look to the future with a smile. The Marian Family Budapest, Hungary ENCOURAGEMENT: Think about these words: GOD IS WITH US! GOD IS WITH YOU. He is with each and every one of you, no matter where you are. We are preparing for Christmas, and this is our message. Matthew 1:23 this is how the Gospel begins “Immanuel” Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which translated means, God with us. Matthew 28:20 “I am with you always!” Jesus promising his disciples continual presence, and protection. “and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. God would like us to understand the right from the beginning to the end that He is there with us! IN THIS SPIRIT WE ARE PREPARING TO GO BACK TO CHINA SHORTLY! People in Ezra’s days were told: “You got to go back and build the city back.” There were 3 million Jews taken to Babylon and only 49,000 went back. ONLY 3% went back. Ezra 7:27-28 3 reasons why they did not go back to Jerusalem: 1. The luxury of Babylon 2. The danger of the journey 3. The bad conditions of Jerusalem The ones that went back really believed that God was with them! We can learn a lot from this example. BUT OUR SITUATION IS DIFFERENT in CHINA: China is an amazing place, a luxurious place, there is no danger on the journey yet, and the conditions of Guangzhou are great! People hungry for the Word of God, there is an amazing appetite for the Word of God and Prayer!!! WE ARE GOING BACK! GOD IS WITH US!
