Babe Ruth made his debut on July 11, 11914, as a pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. He was later to become famous as the champion home run hitter for the New York Yankees. The quote was part of his farewell speech near the end of his life. The raspy voice was caused by his terminal throat cancer. Since no one named the title and actor, Im giving myself two points.
