FAN QUESTION - Does anyone have any supportive advice for our fan who says: I am 38 weeks pregnant with my first baby, my husband and I are so excited! Ive always had a strained relationship with my mother in law and this was made worse when I took her baby away from her when we emigrated to Australia a few years ago. My husband goes on skype with my in laws every fortnight and I occasionally go on to say hi but I know they are there to talk to him so they dont really ask me too many questions. Since being pregnant I expected they would ask more about how I am and how things are with the baby.......this is not the case. They will discuss everything there is to talk about including the weather before they will even mention me or ask how I am! My husband always defends them and their childish behaviour but I honestly think what they are doing is pretty rude. The last skype before the baby arrives and I didnt even get a wish her luck just a make sure you call us when the labour starts so we know whats happening. How should I deal with their behaviour when the baby arrives and they want to see the baby on skype all the time? They clearly arent interested in me but they will expect me to go on with the baby. Any advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
