FAN SHARE-The birth story of Emery Emery Nacosta Lynn was born June 1st at just 27.1 weeks gustation. My water broke at 22 weeks and I had no idea after Mothers Day which was about 24 weeks I had felt a sever decrease in movement called my doctor and she sent me home and said we heart rate is perfect you have an anterior placenta I was still confused tho on how I could go from feeling every move to nothing so I went home had a 3d ultra sound I figured of anything is unusual they would tell me.... Well come to find out there are glorified picture takers... So I still was upset and knew something wasnt quite right so that Sunday at 730pm (now 25 weeks) I didnt feel her at all so I called my hospital they told me come in and get checked.... Now Im in tears go to my husband and told him we need to go to the hospital so off we went..... The nurses come in and a doctor well a few doctors now Im nervous they did a quick ultra sound at the bed side and said your low on fluid I was like what and they asked if my water broke I was like umm I dont think so and than my husband pipes up that during bedroom activity there was a lot mor discharge than normal and by a lot it was a puddle so I got given an Iv and a shot in the arse of steroids to help her lungs and was sent by amb to the high risk L&D and NICU cause my hospital only took babies 32 weeks and on. So I get to the other hospital and Im under this amazing doctor and she said Stevie Im gonna perpare you now you will be staying here with me until you deliver or we induce. I was in shock and I literally cried for three days... So two weeks go by and i start getting contractions and light bleeding and they just kept giving me morphine to help the pain and that wasnt doing much it just spaced them apart and I was up and down from L&D on the morning 1am on June 1st my contractions were unbearable I called my husband told him to come cause I was in so much pain so I was in L&D and hooked up on to the non stress test thing and I got the urge to go to the bathroom I told the nurse she unhooked me and told me go to the bathroom and walk around relax a bit so off I go I call the nurse Im having my blood show and she leaves I go back to the bed and I got intense pain I got back to the toilet cause it hurt less there and out came Emery all by my self and into the toilet now Im in shock.... Jerrett runs grabs the nurses and Im holding Emery and they come take her I get brought to the bed and my placenta dont want to come out so off to OR I go after bleeding out from 4-6 I stopped breathing and than come to find out I lost so much blood that I should have gotten a blood transfusion but at this point Emery was good and breathing she needed CPAP but good so than two days later 2 am Emery needed a plasma transfusion and to be intubated thank god it was only for 48 hours and Emery was only born weighing 2.1lbs she is now 6.6lbs and off all oxygen and 81 days old. We are so close to going home but shes still having the occasional ABD requiring moderate stim to get her out of it they upped her caffeine again today so fingers are crossed that that helps her get over this little hump and we can go home!!! Its been a long journey and heart breaking frustrating and amazing and I wouldnt change it for the world we are back at the hospital she was suppose to be born at as well so all steps closer to going home.... BTW this page is what kept me going while one hospital bed rest before she was born you ladies are strong and so are your LIttle ones!!!
