For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealers showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.So the father wrote a cheque and placed it inside the Bible and the young man collected it but just threw it somewhere in His house, Everytime his father asked him if he was reading the Bible he lied and said yes but the truth is he had thrown the Bible away somewhere in his house.The father knew he was not reading the Bible because he believed if he had been reading it, he would have seen the cheque he had written and carefully hid inside the Bible for him to buy his desired car.Consistently the father will phone him and tell him to be reading his Bible and he too will lie that he was reading it.One day he got fed up and searched for the Bible and started reading it, he had not read for more than a week when he saw the cheque his father had written, signed, and kept inside the Bible he gave him as a gift with a note attachment-USE THIS TO BUY YOUR 1ST CAR.He called his father immediately to thank him and the father said-TRULY YOU HAVE NOW STARTED READING YOUR BIBLE BUT PLEASE SON DONT STOP, GREAT TREASURES LIES IN THE BIBLE.The moral of the story-READ THE BIBLE REGULARLY, IT CONTAINS GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES-Joshua 1:8 saysAnd dont for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind.
