FATHER’S DAY CELEBRATION Message from the AFM children TITLE: A FATHER LEGACY Most men will proclaim everyone his own goodness: but a faithful men who can find? The just man walked in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.(proverb 20:6-7). We the Apostolic faith Suleja Church children wish to use this little write up to express our sincere recognition and appreciation of our fathers on this father’s day. We happily appreciate you our highly esteemed fathers – our model – our strength and fireplace: may the great God of heaven never allow your fire extinguished by any force in Jesus Name. We did so much admire your presence at home and church because indeed you are a warm fireplace for us, with your presence life went smoothly – the future secure – our growing up because what God intended – and our education is guarantee: we hereby pray with broken and contrite heart that the great God of heaven who is indeed the only secret- source of all your value, achievements and success will – preserve you, keep you alive for us, for we know the value of your presence in Jesus mighty name we pray (Amen). Father’s you taught us to love God and pray even examples – help us to memories scriptural verses for Sunday school – taught us to because a – man in quote – you also taught us that wrong should be punished and that rightness has it’s reward. Fathers, we highly regret that most of us if not all of us has not been able to measure upto your expectation, we have disobeyed, been stubborn, carefree and heady most often, ungodly instead of godly just to mention but a few. But fathers we wish to use this opportunity of fathers day to solicit for more of your lovely advice and prayers, closeness, friendly and godly Advice promise that by the grace of God your labour will highly be rewarded by the Almighty God. Just as Apostle John rejoiced over his son gaius you will surely by the special grace of God rejoice over each and every one of us “The elder unto the well beloved gaius, whom I love in truth. Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospered. For I rejoice greatly when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee even as thou walkest in the truth. (3 John 2,3). By Gods grace you will live and rejoice for good news over us in Jesus Name, as we promise to value and to walk in your righteous legacy. “Harken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD, Look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham your Father and unto Sarah that bare you, for I called him (Abraham) alone and blessed him (Isaiah 51:1,2). Please father pray for us to value your godly legacy like Isaac value Abraham’s, like Jacob valued Isaac’s, like Joseph valued Jacob’s and like Timothy valued Lois and Eunice (2 Timothy 1:5). ATTENTION FATHERS: What legacy will your children inherit when you are gone? ATTENTION CHILDREN: What value do you place in the righteous legacy of your godly fathers? “Hear, ye children the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved of my mother; he taught me also and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words, keep my commandment and LIVE. (Said kind Solomon) (proverbs 4:1,3,4).
