FB friends, I just wanted to give you an update on B.J. We have been in hospital since Wednesday. We made a hard decision to make ...whether to do surgery Thursday for possible appendix. B.J. had been in alot of pain since Tuesday.Our doctors ran tons of test but nothing showed us definately it was that.(lots of maybes but not a definate) It took us over two hours to make a decision with lots and lots of prayer. A special thanks to my brother in law David that was with us, prayed for us, and said ...if that was my own I think I would have to do surgery. That was like the Lord giving us an answer, folks!!! We forget that even though our Lord doesnt walk on this earth, HE IS STILL HERE!!! We were told yesterday by our doctor that the labs showed it was appendix. It was the early stages of an appendesides attack ( this teacher cant spell) We are still in the hospital for low grade fever. Just making sure nothing else is going on... I only have good things to say about Oxford Hospital. The nurses have been only sweet, sweet!!! I must brag on Dr. King and his new associate, Dr. Bath. They have been wonderful too. Lots of questions of why Dr. King and why was everything so ify... Jodi Russell is usually out on Wed. Headed to Dr. Harris office but he was booked. This is what BJ said to that...Mama, if Dr. Harris knew we were out here like this, he would want to see me. BJ wanted to knock on the back door of clinic and tell him. We love some Joe Harris!!! So we left Harris office and Im saying..what should we do? I was not wanting to go and sit in ER. Dr. King did my gastric sleeve surgery. His office is right across from ER...I told BJ I know where we r going. I went in and talked to his nurse, Mickey. I knew that was surgery day but she called Dr. Bath and he finished and came over to see BJ. Thanks to everyone who has called, text, fbooked, visited and especially prayed!!! My BJH family has been wonderful. Thanks for your concerns.I dont miss a lot of school and it has bothered me to miss this much school. Yes,I know this was my child and it couldnt be helped, BUT when I am out of school my 80-6th grade babies are not learning..fact is fact!! Special thx to Rachael Swindle for getting work for my kids and teaching mine and her afternoon school. Swindle is the bomb and a wonderful teacher. Last but not least, special thanks to my home church family, Crowder Baptist. Barry and I have been overwhelmed by your calls and concerns. I have been reassured my family is in the right church!!! Bro. Larry, Bro. Dave, and Jeremy aka...Soul Train, I love you and thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I have rambled...but I want to say one more thing...Sunday our sermon hit home to me. Basically it said...If I am a Christian, am I truly telling others what God is doing in my life? Or maybe I need to rethink am I really a Christian? I can assure you I am a Christian but I have not done my Sweet Lord right lately!!! God gave me that sermon for a reason and I think he gave me this experience with B.J.s sickness for a reason...I need to glorify my Lord more and get myself back in church regularly like I was raised to do. A special thx to my mom for being there just to do whatever I needed...from bringing clothes to hospital to keeping up with Jessica. Thanks Karry Anderson for helping JB deliver ffa meat in the rain. My sweet mom in law would have done anything during this but she has been sick this whole time. Continue to pray for BJ. He has said several times even to the dr....this is the first time I can ever remember NOT being at deer camp on opening day...seriously pray once we get home he will take it easy. The dr has told him he can hunt BUT watch the amount you pick up for two or three weeks. Saying that...he and Bradley Turner have their hunting planned out. Bradley will be his hunting partner/guide for a while. I hope driving, carrying gun, carrying the kill etc...poor Bradley!!!! Dr said the walking would be good for soreness but not to fall. Just pray that once we go home BJ will do right...lol. Thanks again for your concerns, acts of kindness and your prayers!!!
