FB friends I needs some guidance. I have a tenant that has been with us over 6 years never missing a payment until 17 months ago when he was diagnosed with cancer. They are an older couple and she stays home to care for him. He cannot work and just recently got approved for $1100 a month in disability. They havent been paying rent and I couldnt force myself to evict them. I knew eventually he would get disability and they would begin to pay again. However with only $1100 how can they afford to pay rent, utilities, medical, groceries, car etc?!?! There has to be an organization that will help this family with living expenses. Can anyone point me in the right direction? They have been unsuccessful with getting any government help.... Which baffles me.
