FB friends, some of you have been posting on my wall about Justin Lookadoo. You will notice I have deleted them all. Please stop posting on my wall and tagging me in posts about it. As usual in our current culture, people are confusing issues and resorting to ad hominem attack. Do I think Lookadoo is credentialed to discuss adolescent development in a public high school during the school day? No. Does this mean I take any joy or delight in the personal suffering of another human being? Absolutely not. Theres nothing humorous about it all. I hope we can all find a compassionate, humble space here. One can contest a persons ideas and should when necessary, but one still always prays for the wellbeing of all of Gods children. Also, I certainly am aware of how often I actually fail to live out what I preach, human beings being what they are and life being what it is. Seems like this could happen to any of us. But I will just speak for myself. I pray that Mr. Lookadoo and his family are surrounded by people who love them and help them through this difficult time and that they find peace on the other side of it.
