FCA Curriculum Updates for June! Our summer-time theme is It’s A Small World! Throughout the months of June, July and August, our children get to explore the world and learn about other countries and cultures. In June, we will travel to Puerto Rico, Egypt, Italy, China and the Caribbean Islands. The Preschool Math focus for the summer is reviewing the concepts we studied throughout the year. A special emphasis will be on matching, graphing, and same and different. We will be sure to cement what we have learned by putting it all together! In Science, we will be talking about Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles! The Growing Up Wild Topic is on Wildlife as a symbol. The Lego Engineering program explores a Hot Day. This June will be a review of our capital and lower case letters. The PreK classes will continue on their reading journey with the BOB books and beyond. The toddlers will be reviewing the shapes and looking again at the colors yellow and purple. They will also explore Full and Empty with their critical thinking skills. This month’s baby signs are Help, Fish, Tree, Diaper, Comb and Afraid. Fun with Fitness will enjoy Super Ball Games. Water Sports and Super-cise Me!! Finally, The Kindness Curriculum takes a look at Forgiveness.
