FCHS attended FCCLA’s State Leadership and Recognition conference this past weekend in Virginia Beach. With over 800 members from all areas of Virginia competing in STAR Events,we are very proud of our Eagles earning the following awards: Kelly Yates earned a BRONZE medal in Illustrated Talk, Senior India Tyree and Myia Parker earned a BRONZE medal in National Programs in Action, Senior Daji Harper, Kaitlin Robinson, and Nyesha Williamson earned a SILVER medal in Advocacy, Senior Jasmine Bender and Lindsay Hale earned a SILVER medal in Illustrated Talk, Junior Asia Mattox and Rachel Spencer earned a SILVER medal in Illustrated Talk, Occupational Katie Horne and Monica Rivera earned a SILVER medal in Interpersonal Communications, Senior Kortia Hale, Michaela Tyree, and Kenya Witcher earned a SILVER medal in Life Event Planning Hannah Prillaman and Jessica Sizemore earned a SILVER medal in Focus on Children, Junior Alberta Craighead and Tia Seay earned a GOLD medal in Chapter Service Project, Senior We are very proud to have 12 students who were STATE WINNERS.
