FEATURE FRIDAY EVENT: KOHLER FOOD AND WINE EXPERIENCE Oct 23rd – Oct 26th If you find yourself in the Kohler WI area this weekend you will want to make sure to stop in at the 14th annual Kohler Food and Wine Experience!!! This is a four-day extravaganza of food, wine, and fun with celebrity chefs, libations specialist, and wine experts. In addition to that the Food and Wine Experience has interactive events like culinary seminars, tastings and signature festivities. The Food and Wine Experience provides a distinctive experience since each Main Stage session provides the guests with samples of the chef-presented recipes prepared on stage. This is where both the chef and the audience really enjoy the ability to interact with each other. They are able to have conversations, exchange feedback, give commentary and ask questions. This allows the guest to interact with the celebrity and regional presenters in a casual manner through book signings, wine dinners, celebrity chef luncheons and special evening events. A sampling of the celebrity chefs include: Graham Elliot- from MasterChef and owner of Graham Elliot Bistro and Primary Food and Drink Stephanie Izard- Season 4 Top Chef Winner and owner of Girl & the goat, and Little Goat Christopher Kimall- Founder of Cook’s Magazine Rick Tramonto- Chicago Chef and Cookbook Author A taste of the Winery and Liquor presentations will come: Grgich Hills Estate Wilson Daniels Gundlach Bundschu Winery Ste. Michelle Wine Estates Along with the presentations of food and wine shops all over Kohler WI will be holding special events. For example Art Imig’s who is a retailer of St. Croix Collections, located in the shops at Woodlake Kohler, will be showcasing their vary rare and limited-edition St. Croix Vicuna sweater. Only 100 are available in the United States for the Fall 2014 season. Art Imig’s will be providing refreshments and will be happy to teach you about the legacy of the vicuna yarn. Some stores like Wisconsin Trader and Kacia will be holding trunk shows while others like Ann Sacks and Sensualities will be offering sales.
